Uptown Dog

Adventures of a not-so-average mutt making new friends in New York City

About Uptown Dog

The subject of Uptown Dog is my beloved Corgi mix. I adopted him in 2007 when I was a lonely, overworked law student in the South. He has been a faithful and fun-loving companion ever since.

I started this blog to chronicle our move to New York City, but I decided to write from my dog’s perspective instead of my own. Experiencing the world through Uptown Dog’s eyes (and nose) is so much more exciting!

Thanks for visiting. I hope you enjoy life with Uptown Dog as much as I do.

– Uptown Dog’s Mom

P.S. Uptown Dog wishes to keep his real name anonymous. He doesn’t want his new doggie friends to be intimidated by his Internet fame.

Love reading about Uptown Dog’s adventures! He must get his wit from his mom and dad…can’t wait to see what the big apple has in store for him!

  2. Hi Uptown Dog. I’m really enjoying reading about my new dog blogging friend so I’ve nominated you for an award. You can read about it here http://bongodogblog.wordpress.com/2011/12/01/somebody-loves-me/

  3. Hey there Uptown Dog. So funny that our pups both have the up/down ears 🙂 Wanted to let you know I love reading your dog blog and I’ve nominated you for an award. Check it out here: http://deannamelanie.wordpress.com/2011/12/01/our-first-award/

  4. My first and second blog awards ever…both in one day! I am so happy to have met great dog blogging friends like you 🙂

  5. Oh Dog! I know all about those “gender issues.” This kitty came toddling into our yard one day while me and DeDe were outside. Poor kitty was as skinny as a kitty can be and still be alive. Well Jen fed her and took her to the vet and today….. a MONTH after kitty first came into our lives, Jen learned that the cute little girl kitty is actually a boy!

    • Whoops! Glad I’m not the only one who got mistaken for a girl. I think it helped me get in touch with my feminine side, which is never a bad thing. Females have lots of great qualities…especially my Mom!
